I love spring, it is so pretty and sunny, when new lives are being born, of people, animals, and plants.
Spring is also when my birthday is! Easter is also in spring and Easter is also one of my favorite holidays. Only 31 days! Spring also has a smell, like winter has a crisp cold smell, and summer has that hot sweet smell, and fall smells like leaves, pumpkins and has that cool magical smell, spring smells like flowers and fresh air, if you climb up a tree and take a big breath of air, you can smell the most beautiful smells I can not describe. Spring is also so green, (green is one of my favorite colors.) Sometimes it makes me feel as if I were in a fairy tail.
Here is an excerpt from "The Late Wisconsin Spring" By: John Koethe
Snow melts into the earth and a gentle breeze loosens the stale leaves leftover from autumn.
The sky shakes itself out and the invisible birds winter puts away somewhere to return.
The air relaxes.
Now the clouds are lighter the branches frosted green, and suddenly the season that had
seemed so tentative before, becomes immediate, so clear the heart breaks and the vibrant
air is laced with crystal wires.
Here at the heart of spring-all year long these feelings alternately wither and bloom.
Gesters made up of trees and clouds and air.
This Poem is very beautiful. I think writing poetry is a real art form for which I have no talent. I think when you write your blog, it is a form of poetry. Your writing is so descriptive and evokes your emotional attachment to what you are writing. I also enjoy when you assign pictures to your blogs. I can usually visualize images when I read what you write. I too am so looking forward to Spring. It is my second favorite season with Summer being my favorite. This year I want to get a good summer sun tan but I have to lose some weight first so I don't end up looking like a brown Santa Claus!!! I look forward to your next post. I love you very much, DooDah
