Pixi's third birthday party!

   Pixi's third birthday party was lots of fun, and I think Pixi enjoyed it more than anyone. We went to a friends house, and her friend Orla, has her own room that is literally filled with stuffed animals and baby dolls, she also has a play kitchen- almost every toy a three-year-old could wish for! Pixi also loved it when we sang Happy Birthday to her, and the cake was Sooooo good! She also got some good presents. Aunt krista made her two skirts, Lori got her two books, and Grammy got her a cookie making kit, and some plastic rings, bracelets, and necklaces. we stayed for a long time until after dark, and almost the entire time she was running and screaming, and playing babies with Orla. I think that it was a great party.      

Spring is just around the corner!

  I love spring, it is so pretty and sunny, when new lives are being born, of people, animals, and plants.
Spring is also when my birthday is! Easter is also in spring and Easter is also one of my favorite holidays. Only 31 days! Spring also has a smell, like winter has a crisp cold smell, and summer has that hot sweet smell, and fall smells like leaves, pumpkins and has that cool magical smell, spring smells like flowers and fresh air, if you climb up a tree and take a big breath of air, you can smell the most beautiful smells I can not describe. Spring is also so green, (green is one of my favorite colors.) Sometimes it makes me feel as if I were in a fairy tail.

              Snow melts into the earth and a gentle breeze loosens the stale leaves leftover from autumn.
            The sky shakes itself out and the invisible birds winter puts away somewhere to return.
             The air relaxes.
                                                    
               Now the clouds are lighter the branches frosted green, and suddenly the season that had
               seemed so tentative before, becomes immediate, so clear the heart breaks and the vibrant

Skating!

  Every month on a tuesday, we go skating. It is lots of fun. We usually skate for about 3-4 hours.
The last time we went skating, my friend Kearra went to. It was lot's of fun! We played tag rollerskating with some other kids, and skated for a long time. It's so fun, even to skate by myself, I'v gotten pretty good, because we have been skating for at least two years now. They also have a game place up by the front of the rollerskating rink, and if you win one of the games you get tickets, and you can go up to the front and trade them in for prizes. Last time we went, I got Pixi a little plastic doll, and myself two little Japanese erasers shaped like cupcakes, they're really cool (I'm collecting them.) They also have a big inflatable thing with a slide, called, "a bouncy house" which is a dollar, and Pixi always goes in that while we skate. After we go skating, we usually go the Whole Foods and get an Odwalla juice, and sometimes a bagel. By the time we get home, it's time for dinner, and we have to wait another month for skating again. :)                                                                                                                                   

Pixi's third birthday!

   Last friday my baby sister Pixi turned three, and we celebrated! For breakfast we had eggs. After that daddy came home and we had a lunch of quina salad then we went to the zoo, Pixi loved all of the animals. We saw poler bear, bobcats, lizards, snakes, alligators, leopards, foxes, an owl, cool stick bugs, leaf bugs, giant spiders, glowing scorpions, roaches, and lots of other insects and animals. After the zoo we were all hungry so we went to Loving Hut for dinner. Next we went to Josef Beth and looked around for presents for Pixi mommy and daddy got her some stuff but iI could not find anything within my price range. Next we went to Whole Foods and I got Pixi a bag of cookies. When we got home mommy made a DEEELICIOUS strawberry cake. We wrapped our presents then sang "Happy-birthday." Finally she opened her presents mommy and daddy got her, first she opened the play dough kit that hat little rollers and stuff like that in it, next she opened a dinosaur train coloring book, then she opened a little book called the "Red ripe strawberry and the the big hungry bear" and a little wind up mouse, finally she opened the presents that I got her witch were the cookies and a little book I made her called "Happy Birthday Baby!" then we had cake, but Pixi was more interested in her presents than cake. When we had brushed our teeth and gotten our PJ's on daddy read the Birthday Bird to Pixi and we went to bed:)

Hiking

 Hiking is a lot of fun. We usually go hiking on weekends then go out and do something fun for dinner. I am going to write about our most recent hike:

    First we woke up, and had a delicious breakfast of french toast. After that we went on with our day,  cleaned up, and did other stuff. Then we started the hike! I packed a bagel, my phone, and a backpack. Then we went to a park, and explored all over ( I got some beautiful pictures) We stayed for a couple hours then went and had dinner with my cousins and my aunt, while my mom and dad got dressed up for a date with their friends. While they were gone we watched part of a movie and made valentine cards. At about 9.30 we went home and watched a movie while the parents talked downstairs. Then at midnight, finally got to bed.
Hiking is a lot of fun especially when you do fun things afterwards.
